Sarah McCloskey
Sarah McCloskey, known to many as sarsar, is a 23-year-old Perth based artist and illustrator.
Currently working mostly in pencil and paint, much of her art centers around combining realism with distortion and the recognizable with the imagined, while often focusing on human and animal-based subject matter. Her work often features female subjects, and her love of drawing ladies was apparent in her first solo exhibition, ‘SHE’, which focused solely on the unique beauty of the women of the world. Another signature motif in Sarah’s work is her use of bold pattern alongside her unique style of realism.
